It's been a long time since I've had that much fun in the movie theater. Best Hulk, best villain, best supergroup, best costumes and special effects, and best dialogue and character development. There were a few flaws, but VERY few.

I can't wait til this movie is a few weeks older so I can start writing spoilers!!!! It's just that good!

I've made two updates. I might post the text soon, since the one is a brand new story.

Go-To Girl is a fic challenge thrown to me by the lovely sintah from DeviantArt. The pairing is Archie/Ethel, one that I would NEVER have thought of on my own, but I love it. Adore it, actually. I like the thought of Archie paying attention to the wallflower instead of the ones who always fight over him openly. I also like the idea of Ethel getting a break. My last big piece featuring Ethel was Not the Sun, one of my favorites out of my own catalog.

The second is Pigtails, my current albatross of a fic. It's getting long and feels like it's nowhere near done, even though three or four chapters might resolve it pretty well. I've been working on this one for a while, somewhere in the neighborhood of two years. It's Beggie, and there was a slow build getting it to where it is now. Girl Next Door is a companion fic in a way, similar situation of the two of them *Reg and Bets* growing up together and initially not liking each other, but it's going to have a different progression and flow, and different conflicts.

There are twelve chapters so far. I hope you enjoy them. I might go ahead and post the text here, but if you like continuity and reading everything in one jump, go to AFF. It's kind of my clearinghouse for most of my fic. For my older stuff that's mostly miscellaneous Marvel stories, I have it all on Superstories.NET. HOWEVER, that site is being rebuilt in its entirety, so I don't know if anyone can even access the archive. I had to resubmit my logon ID and recreate my account a month ago, and I couldn't see my stories. Mind you, some of them I don't WANT to see, my old ones are clunkers. *hangs head in shame*

I've been meaning to do more with this character from the Archies stable. Jason's funny, and he keeps popping up every now and again, he was just in one of my digests this past month.

This is a digital painting I did in Sai. It might have come out better if I had sketched the drawing on paper, scanned it, and then just painted a couple of layers over it. I based the painting on a picture of Jeremy Sumpter from the Peter Pan movie, which he was great in. He's also ridiculously handsome now that he's all grown up, as evidenced by the Google Images catalog of pics of that guy. He has a great mouth, which unfortunately I messed up.
